Entrepreneurship Step 1 – Creativity and Innovation
The essence of entrepreneurial success is creating value in the
marketplace through the process of combining resources in new and
different ways to achieve a competitive edge over others.
Entrepreneurs can add value in a number of ways – by developing new
technology, discovering new knowledge, improving existing products
or services, or finding different ways of gathering, coordinating
and combining limited resources to provide more goods and better
services.

Entrepreneurship Step 2 – Identifying Opportunities
Many aspiring entrepreneurs tend to view every great idea they
have as an opportunity. Successful entrepreneurs seem to have one
thing in common: they have developed an uncanny ability to separate
the opportunities from the chaotic pool of ideas. Too often aspiring
entrepreneurs become enchanted with a new idea which they feel can
be the solution the market is waiting for; however, experience has
shown that if an entrepreneurial enterprise is based on a solution
without a problem, then the business will soon have a problem with
no solution.
