Imagine Cup Short Film Challenge: Where creativity
and passion earn you fame!
The freshest minds and best artistic ideas face off in the Imagine
Cup Short Film Challenge. Show your ability to create, develop, and
produce a short film (no longer than 15 minutes) with an
environmental theme. Prove you have the ability to tell a story
better than your peers. If you win your film could debut at the
Seattle International Film Festival during the Planet Cinema Series
in addition to accommodations and travel for the National finals in
LA.
This year we are spicing it up a bit with the addition on the Viewer's Choice. What this means is that the top 20 films selected by a panel of judges will be placed online and then voted on by your peers! The people's voice will be heard and the top 3 films with the most votes will win!
Please note that this is in addition to the Worldwide Short Film competition. Being selected as a finalist or winner in this Contest guarantees neither advancement to nor placement in the 2008 Imagine Cup Worldwide Short Film Invitational in Paris, France.
Prize Amounts for North America Finals
- First Place: $5,000 and debut your film at the Seattle International Film Festival
- Second Place: $3,000
- Third Place: $1,500
Additional prizes: Competitors that achieve advancement to the national finals will also receive travel and accommodations to attend the national final competition in LA
