US Photography Invitational (Viewer’s Choice)
Imagine Cup Photography Challenge: Where your
artistic eye can earn you fame!
The freshest minds and best artistic ideas face off in the Imagine
Cup Photograph Challenge. Use your creativity and storytelling
ability to create a 10 picture Photo Series based on an
environmental theme. Prove you have the ability to tell a story
better than your peers. If you win your Photo Series could be
featured in a 2 page color spread in American Photography and also
your very own micro site off of PopPhoto.com. This is in addition to
accommodations and travel for the National finals in LA.
This year we are spicing it up a bit with the addition on the Viewer’s Choice. What this means is that the top 20 Photo Series selected by a panel of judges will be placed online and then voted on by your peers! The people’s voice will be heard and the top 3 Photo Series with the most votes will win!
Please note that this is in addition to the Worldwide Photography competition. Being selected as a finalist or winner in this Contest guarantees neither advancement to placement in the 2008 Imagine Cup Worldwide Game Design Invitational in Paris, France.
Prize Amounts for US Finals
- First Place: $5,000 and a 2 page color spread in American Photography magazine and display of pictures on Imagine Cup micro site of PopPhoto.com
- Second Place: $3,000 and display of pictures on Imagine Cup micro site of PopPhoto.com
- Third Place: $1,500 and display of pictures on Imagine Cup
micro site of PopPhoto.com
Additional prizes:
Additional prizes: Competitors that achieve advancement to the national finals will also receive travel and accommodations to attend the national final competition in LA.
