problem solve? Do you tirelessly critique games you play and believe
you can do better? If you answered yes to any of the above questions
then Imagine Cup Game Design is the challenge for you. Plus if you
win your game could earn you your very own booth at PAX (Penny
Arcade Expo www.pennyarcade.com)
to show your stuff!
This year we are spicing it up a bit with the addition on the Viewer’s Choice. What this means is that the top 20 games selected by a panel of judges will be placed online and then voted on by your peers! The people’s voice will be heard and the top 3 games with the most votes will win!
Please note that this is in addition to the Worldwide Game Design competition. Being selected as a finalist or winner in this Contest guarantees neither advancement to nor placement in the 2008 Imagine Cup Worldwide Game Design Invitational in Paris, France.
Prize Amounts for North America Finals
- First Place: $5,000 and your own booth at PAX (Penny Arcade Expo www.Pennyarcade.com)
- Second Place: $3,000
- Third Place: $1,500
Additional prizes: Competitors that achieve advancement to the national finals will also receive travel and accommodations to attend the national final competition in LA
